I've only been supporting Reading for 9 years or so. This means I have no real memory of the TBs era, I went to a few games but didn't get affected too much.

Whenever people are disappointed about a match and vent their opinions on here, it's almost guaranteed that somebody will come on here who will say "If you think this is bad, you should have seen the Tommy Burns era, with appalling football every week and genuine fears of Division 3."

If things are to get worse with Rodgers, I can bring that argument back out in the future.

We still have a decent set of youngsters who will shine eventually.

We've got to the Prem from League 1 before.

A good old Swindon-Reading derby to look forward to.
