Reading FC reserves v Bristol City

by Farnborough FC » 09 Nov 2009 18:10

Hi Reading fans,

Just a quick message from Farborough FC ahead of tomorrow's (Tuesday 10th Nov) Reading FC reserve clash with Bristol City at Farnborough FC in the totesport.com Wales & West Combination Division.

Kick-off at Cherrywood Road is at 7pm, with free admittance to Reading FC season ticket holders and Young Royals members. Prices on the gate are £3 for adults and £1 for U16s.

The Platinum Lounge, The Dugout Bar and the Boro Burger Bar will be open on the night, and we will be showing the Leeds United vs Grimsby Town Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash live on the big screens in the bar and around the ground.

For any further information, visit our website - http://www.farnboroughfc.co.uk - or email me (chris.harris@farnboroughfc.co.uk)

Cheers. Great set-up at Farnborough these days, a club going places. I particularly recommend the curry sauce and chips. But any chance you might have some team sheets printed up this time for those of us who are not exactly au fait with the members of the Reading FC academy :| .

Reading first team is depressing enough to watch, and I only do that as I bought a ST. Not going to waste anymore money on them. Sorry!

I presume so. For Farnborough league games the main stand has restricted access for those willing to pay extra and but for Forest Green reserve game we had there a few weeks back it was possible to sit there. I don't see why there would be any problem in going into Platinum lounge as it is literally through some glass doors at the back of the main stand.

To expand just a touch we looked sharper first half which was reflected in the 2-0 score at the break. Second half Bristol dominated really. Our sole tactic seemed to be keeper to hoof towards HRK on the left wing. City deserved their equaliser .. 89th minute or so. Both sides had chances to win it. Armstrong looked OK. Wouldn't say any of them were pushing the first team.
