Googled for it when I was doing the refwatch for last season's game at PP but couldn't find it. The only picture of a Reading fan crying at Derby I could find was the one with the bloke in the jesters hat.

It being 0-0 at half-time.

Great Gliksey goal in Nov 1985 - great atmosphere at the old ground - and an awful pitch as seen on MOTD in early 1970s!

Is the Baseball ground still there? Last time I was in Derby the ground was still being used for youth team games I think

I don't believe it is. When I first travelled through Derby in October 2001 on my way to Nottingham (for our 4-3 win v Notts County) I distinctly remember seeing the Baseball Ground right next to the railway. In subsequent journeys I have looked for it and have been disappointed to note that it is no longer there. My recent enquiries via Googlemap seem to back up my thoughts, as by Ramsline Halt there is a significant area which covers half to two-thirds of the size of a football stadium, with new buildings covering the remaining third. Therefore I think it has started to be built on.

It's always a shame when old stadiums get knocked down :(

I know financial needs mean that the lands needs selling but if they can list other buildings of national heritage why can't some stadiums, or even just the odd stand be saved. It would be great to just be able to stand on a short section of the south bank, maybe at the edge of a small park with the housing estate around it for example
