Whilst the sig played well it is absolute tosh that jobi is not in the team.

Just goes to show that they dont actually pick it by watching the games - instead the buffoons just check out the score sheet and guess.

Jobi should have been in the team as well. Dean Shiels must have been fantastic!

Hmmm possibly. I have never understood it all myself really.

See what Actim said about Hunt and Rosenior last season. Most on here would not have believed it.

WTF? How the hell is that calculated! It must be purely based on miles covered, I genuinely can't think of any other way those 2 could be so highly rated.

And in answer to my own question, seems distance run isn't even included, what's that saying about lies, damn lies and statistics:

The six calculations which generate the Actim Index are:

Calculation 1 – Assesses a player's contribution to a winning team, based on points won by the team when he has appeared
Calculation 2 – Assesses a player's performance in each game by allocating points for actions that positively contribute to a winning performance such as shots, tackles, clearances and saves. It also takes points away from players for negative actions such as yellow/red cards and shots off target
Calculation 3 – Allocates points based on time on the pitch
Calculation 4 – Allocates points for goal scorers
Calculation 5 – Allocates points for assists
Calculation 6 – Allocates points for clean sheets

Worse than that, Actim reckon Hunt was the 4th best player in the whole Championship last season!

(Kevin Doyle was third, though much more deserved).

^^^ this, but without the Caps lock.

Hunt was the best player in the league pre xmas last season. But your average attendee at the Spacker Bowl is too stupid to see that. Probably the same afflication that caused so many to vote Harper as Player of the Season over Forster in 2003.

Still, thats no excuse for McAnuff not being in the team of the week, 10/10 performance, could be worth 15 points+ come the end of season to us. How would the team be feeling now had we not won again and the run dragged on to 20 odd games?

Think it's to do with American Football? They have one every year, quite a big event on American TV.
