Getting mugged off by the big investors on our own patch.

If you look in the side panel, quite a few good party videos too.

Yep, this was a shameful effort. We were absolutely rancid from February to May lst season yet astonishingly we still had the chance of promotion to the Premier League on the final day. And we utterly failed - totally thrashed by Birmingham that day. A timley reminder that all of our current woes aren't exclusively the fault of Rodgers (although he deserves his own hefty wedge of the blame).

Ah yes, the Birmingham team that wrote off as a bunch of mercenary, past-it has beens, who would fade away as the season went on.

Looking back on the last two seasons is really frustrating. Both seasons we were in control of our destiny, and threw it away. We weren't ever really waiting for other results to go our way, and both seasons we had 8-10 games to pick up a handful of points that would have seen us either stave off relegation or gain auto promotion.

The loss at home to Fulham sealed it the year we went down (a game/performance where, for the first time in ages, I saw a Reading team who just didn't appear to be trying) , and the last 4 months of last season were so drab I can't really recall where we should have picked up those promotion points.

At least nowadays, we all realise that we are most definitely in the poop.

This is exactly why Rodgers needs time and Coppell should never come back.

Having a party and a big day out in our ground, just like burnley the next home game later. A super party at our expense.

Birmingham 8th in the prem, 4 wins on the bounce new investors money to spend in January. Reading just above the Championship drop zone heading for division one. Worth noting that despite average gates less than Readings they sold no players when relegated the previous season. Reading off loaded Kitson Shorey and Cox.

What has Cox got to do with anything?

And for the record Birmingham sold Fabrice Muamba (£5.5m to Bolton), Olivier Kapo (£3.5m to Wigan) and they also released Daniel de Ridder and Mikael Forsell.

The reasons why de Ridder left Brum are actually quite funny. "You pass the ball too much, son". He's apparently at Wigan but I'd not have noticed.

In that relegation season, they also had that Argentinian player - Zarate - now at Lazio.
