Wanted it to work out for him, sadly it did not.

Wish him well, and hope he finds another decent appointment. You just know he will bring a team to Madjeski one day and tonk us!!

This was his dream job. He had big dreams, unfortunately they were just too big for either him, the club or the players.

Brendan, I'm really sorry it hasn't worked out for any of us and you've had to learn the hard way that dreams don't always work in reality. You seemed the ideal person to take us up the table, but I think it was too much, too soon. Maybe we can get it together in a few years time, when you've had more experience of working with reality.

Some would say he's been doing that for the last 5 months ...
But I wouldn't.

Better luck to you in the future, in 3-5 yrs after getting some experience you might even be welcomed back by some.

I think he had the right ideas.
Just the wrong backing to pull it off.
In the end, his appointment was a poisoned chalice; and he should have stayed at Watford, continuing his good work there.
Thanks for the efforts, I fear we may regret this decision...

don't think we will get a manager who actually held a passion for RFC itself! wanted him to pull it around but there were too many 'near results'

be interesting to see if this is the right decision. only time will tell

He came, we saw
we were abysmally poor
shown the door, shown the door

we knew we'd lose
with brenda on the loose
piss poor, piss poor

No he's gone
we still don't have a song
for his team, for his team

John Madejski's Magic, he wears a magic hat, and when he saw a clueless pratt, he said I'm having that.

Liked him as a person, and thought his ideas were good, but just not good enough. Good luck to him wherever he goes next.

Ideal oxf*rd off Brendan Rodgers, you won't be missed.
You brought us nothing but miserable results, horrendous tactics, pathetic team selection, and even worse you wasted millions of pounds in the transfer market.
You are a oxf*rd disgrace, and I disapprove of the way you have badmouthed the club to the media, saying you resigned because you weren't promised more transfer funds, well I have news for you pathetic oxf*rd, only losers like Royalee will miss you, those of us that don't live on planet fecktard are glad to see you go, piss off and never come back.

Brendan I didn't want you here. Purely because you didn't have much experience.

But when you came I gave you a chance and loved what you tried to do by chopping and changing and learning.

I think you were unlucky mate. Thrown into the deep end too quickly.

I hope you get some much needed experience and success with another club and one day will shine.

All the best and merry Christmas.
