They are going down anyway, we have some of the most expensive tickets in the division and one of the shittest sides. The only way is down.

ROKERITE The one consolation as I watched the score mount up on SSN was that surely Madejski must act now. He was far too quick to sack Rodgers, but now every day he delays installing the new Manager is a day too long. Dowie, Hoddle or even Ferguson should be appointed by the weekend, although the longer Sir John dawdles, the more Ideal and his ilk may realise you should be careful what you wish for. I never doubted that Rodgers would steer Reading to mid-table safety: now, relegation is a real possibility unless Madejski acts fast and chooses well.
