Where did this Hammond quote referring to the January transfer window come from? I'm searching a bit online and my best guess is a cracking WUM post. If I'm wrong and it's genuine, don't get me started.....

A higher being might have had his hand up his *rse and been working his lips but Hammond did appear to use those words (or very similar) in the interview.
I'd like to propose a few 'outs' then...
Madejski, Howe, Hammond, McDermott, Gibbs, Gunnarsson, Ingimarsson, Long, Kebe.
Should be able to afford Brendan back, plus another right back, winger and striker after all that lot have f*cked off.

Royalee I'll add Cummings, Matejovsky was the only player on the pitch capable of a good 45 minutes today, yet he was subbed!
He wasn't great though. Change of shape was necessary, though when you've only got Kebe or HRK on the bench then the options are limited.
Rasiak could have done with starting though. Long is not a target man.
