Gunnarsson

I've never been Bryn's biggest fan, but he looks rejuvenated under BM. Hell he even lasted 120 minutes!

If BR was still manager I'm certain that Bryn would not have played for us again and would have probably left the club by now. Now he looks like he could be a key player for the rest of the season.

WIth Griffin coming in that could be his last start

EDIT maybe not as Griffin could be cup-tied for the next round

Never been a fan. Didn't want him to start tonight. Absolutely fantastic performance from him.

How the hell did Gunnar turn into Messi going forward and Maldini at the back?!

He was by far MOM tonight.

Dropped for Saturday in place of Griffin??
I wonder if he knew he had to perform, because he was utterly excellent

I think he'll need to rest on Saturday. Was my man of the match by far.

He was poor against Liverpool at home. Tonight he was awesome though. I'm sure he'll play like that against Forest :D

From the BBC website:

Reading goal: That is a really, really well-worked goal. Brynjar Gunnarsson, who was rubbish at Forest, morphs into Garrincha down the Reading left, doing Yossi Benayoun and then nutmegging Emiliano Insua before sending over a quite glorious cross that Shane Long glances into the Liverpool net from six yards. Oh my word.

Been my favourite player for a coupla years

People just can't see past his lumbering gait. Massively underrated by many fans

Gunnarsson always seems to pop up with something magic in those really massive games.

Scored some absolute crackers down the years as well.
