Four points surely! We're on 23 points while they are on 37, with possible deduction of 10. Nothing official as of yet but must be expected. However I'm sure if they keep their team together and hold on to Victor Moses then they will pull clear of trouble pretty quickly.

lets hope that Watford's financial woes re surface as well!

Palace will lose the likes of Ambrose and Moses, this can only be great news for us.

Stuffed Crust Pizza hold on to Victor Moses

Unlikely - the administrators will want to sell him to recoup some of the money.

it is sad, and makes me appreciate us having a club that is run properly, and not slating the chairman constantly like some of the twats on here.

Feel bad for the fans but not the club.

NB I say this with absolutely no idea about how they ended up in this parlous st8.

This should help justify Madejskis approach. Financial prudence resulting in us eventually winning promotion back to the Premier League, due to most other clubs going bust. A long term piece of strategic genius.

I really want other clubs to go bust now.

Looks like Simon Jordan has refused to keep subsidising the wage bill and general club running costs as his desperate attempts to sell the club have not resulted in any real or concrete interest.

SHame on the fans, but desperate times, call on desperate measures. Even a point now tonight would be helpful. Let's hope the players know about this before the game!

I wouldn't wish it on any club sets of fans but this can only be great news for us.

Sad for the fans, but not for either Simon Jordan or Colin.

Me either. Staying-up is staying-up. Besides, a club is as much about what goes on off the pitch as how the team play on it. It's competition between clubs for players, financing, sponsorship, fans, everything.

It was always possible that this season relegation would be affected by clubs going into administration.

Sir Mad's prudent policy well may be the making of us if we can just survive this season. Several PL clubs are likely to go down the tube in the next few years and the football authorities will have to clamp down on debt/high wages.

THink Palace should have just about enough to stay up, even with some sales. But this can only help us. Again, sympathy for teh fans but not the club..

Did they ever recover from that recent flirt with the Prem? Is it a hangover from that and they've just been hanging on for years?

£27-50 a ticket, they lost the plot a while ago. living in the real world does make sense, spend what you have, and borrow within limits. Jordan putting money in each year was always going to end in disaster, unless it was a donation, not a loan. Same at every club, you cant keep loaning/borrowing, it has to be paid back in the end.

If figures were built into the FA/FL rules things might be a lot better.
