Sun Tzu I don't want the club in the hands of anyone who does not have it's best interests at heart or who isn't prepared to ensure it is run in a reasonably sensible way.
I'm not sure it would be easy to find someone at this time who gets closer to the ideal than SJM, despite his imperfections.

0-7 Madejski hasn't got the slightest intention of selling for at least 5 years as the club gives him the media spotlight his inferiority complex has always craved.

Pseud O'Nym For the club's sake I hope he stays as long as possible. From his point of view maybe he should already have gone. Someone (A Sugar?) said "the only good football chairmen are the ones who got out before the fans turned on them".

Royal_Delight Well,it depends. If he is selling to a million/billion-aire, at least sell it to someone who will love it and invest significantly every year instead of other owners of other clubs who use it as a 'trophy'. If Madejski is unable to find such a buyer, I say he should stay for the time being.

Define "invest" - "invest" as in lending us lots of money that stays around as debt, or "invest" as in us large sums of money.
People who'll do that latter are like rocking-horse droppings - people who'll do the former are extremely dangerous. How do you ensure you know the difference from the start?
