Prediction for Leicester, 24 March 2010

by Royal_Delight » 21 Mar 2010 03:33

I am going for a 1-1 draw. They are a good team and a draw would be a right result IMO. Long to score for us.

I'm predicting a nice easy walk to the ground, with a beer or two added en route. A corking game of football involving 35 goals, (Leicester 6 - 29 Reading) and a back from the game report by half 10...

Leicester are on BBC 1 today, and 12.45 ish - we get to have a good gander at them before our game...

Winnable, though they are a good team, we seem to be matching teams like this now, which is nice.

2-1 URZ.

Kebe(36')
Fryatt(47')
Sigurdsson & Long(77') They both kick the ball at the same time, and both try and claim.

Isn't Fryatt still injured?

The best I can forsee is a 2-0 home win. This run of good results has to stop at some stage.

0-0 or 1-1 and that's optimistic. We never, ever, ever win when I go. :(

Watching Leicester on the telly, they seem to play like us on speed, always hassling and harrying and so fast (unless it's the pills I'm on). I don't think we stand a chance, tbh.

Still, hope MCD can come up with his magic and convince our boys that they are Man Utd, so 2-1 to us then.

Sig and Matejovsky

(edit: OK, they seem to have slowed down a bit in the 2nd half so maybe we do stand a chance... or my medication's wearing off).

Yeah I thought exactly the same. Leicester looked very frail for the final hour, and made a very average Cov team look decent at times. The players will be bhoyed by yesterday, we just need to make sure we keep it tight in the first half an hour.

Kebe to rip them a new one 2-1 Reading Kebe, Sig, Waghorn with a late consolation.

I couldn't help but feel The Sig was stifled in the middle against 'Boro. He's clearly been identified as our danger man by other teams. Maybe we should go 4-4-2 with him out on the left? Having said that, McAnuff and Kebe are doing well at the moment...

I'll go for a win. A bit of Kebe magic or Siggy wizardry will see us come out 2-1 winners.

City will be all over us in 1st half, hitting the post, missing loads of glorious chances.....
then Siggy will score a soft looping header just before half-time.
City will huff & puff 2nd half without really troubling Fed and we'll see it out 1-0.
