Sorry, given the 'cheap shot' nature of the comment i simply wanted to make a jocular response.
I think football speak terminology should probably have given us a response of 'b*llocks' - apologies if the subtlety went as far over the head as a Matt Mills 'pass'

I don't think so. When you are faced with a relegation battle, there is more chance of making the tackle that could result in a second yellow or straight red. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Compare this season to the disciplinary record in 2005/06... and last season for that matter.
