Executive coaches have a toilet you are advised to try and not use and you get a coffee on the way up and down. Hopefully a video that works, also, unlike Coach 4 to Man City...

Executive coaches have loos and tea/coffee machines. They are more expensive to hire.

But are they standard choice for all games going beyond 4/5 hours one way travel.

On trips such as Middlesbrough/ Newcastle we would expect to put on execs.

The video/DVD is OK to have on but if only there was some way to only have the sound for those who want to listen. :(

I tried that using my own headphones but they can't cope with the situation where each pair of coach seats has its own set of overhead speakers blasting out at full volume just inches from my ears.

Mind you, after 2 hours of DVD hell the last 3 hours of a long trip seems more bearable

Jolly good, as asked before in this thread but not fully covered, what do executive coaches have that the standard ones do not?

Someone said toilet and a DVD player, but we already have that on coach 5?!

Perhaps STAR could follow First Great Western's lead and have a silent coach and a coach with tv entertainment... of course if they do follow First Great Western's lead expect one coach to be cancelled, one to arrive late and another to terminate mid-way there.

Well you are lucky to have that as standard then the other coaches don't.
But the other extras are tea/coffee machine.
