Structured Dialogue!

by STAR Liaison » 20 Feb 2020 21:36

Sounds dull, I know, but important.

We had our first meeting under this new protocol with the senior people at the football club and the notes are now up on our website.

On another thread RG30 has referenced the item about Royal Elm Park but do take a look at the other bits, http://www.star-reading.org in the newsy bit.

What's the difference between the Senior Management Meeting and the Structured Dialogue meeting?

The Structured Dialogue meeting is a stand-alone meeting where STAR sets the agenda. There are fewer people present, the meeting lasts longer and deals with higher level / more strategic / longer-term issues. It will happen less frequently than the Senior Management Meeting.

The Senior Management Meeting is a meeting called by the club and is attended by the senior people from all the club's departments. STAR attends only part of the meeting (usually c 45 mins) and the agenda here tends to be more operational matters - parking, buses, stewarding, player of the season, ticket delivery etc. - to which the various heads of department are on hand to respond.
