I cant believe someone summarised what went on at the Fans Forum .. Maybe when you are admitted in to STAR you should have to sign a NDA ??

Should the title not read 'First STAR Forum of the season' as let's face it any 'normal' fan stands zero chance of finding out what went on unless you are the owner of a 'special fleece' and you know the 'secret handshake'...

When did the STAR policy change? I seem to recall previous Fans Forums being posted on here pretty much straight after the event with no problems and this just seems like a step backward.

It hasn't changed in so far as we have always insisted no press, even RFC commuications department cannot record it they only take video footage without sound.
As far as the notes are concerned we changed it when the numbers attending dropped off alarmingly and we were told there is no point is coming as the notes tell us what was said. In itself that is not worrying but the numbers became an insult to the manager/players who did attend. It is not very flattering when they see just a scattering of people coming along. Since we changed the number attending have again become respectable and so we consider it was the right decision. I am sorry for those who cannot attend and we have always treated requests for the notes from exiles sympathetically but as it is a benefit of membership of STAR I make no apology to those who don't/won't join as we have to pay for the venue so consider those who help fund it should get priority.

What possible reason would they have to record it without sound?
