Thoughts?

by readingfc_4_life_and_beyo » 03 May 2007 16:17

Ok, not actually for STAR, but just everyone ABOUT STAR.

Earlier in the season (Aston Villa, I seem to remember), there was an up cry about Coaches being late.

Has there been any problems since?

I'm thinking of using the coach to get to Blackburn, not certain yet.

Thoughts? Feelings? Better? Crap as it was?

(Last season I used STAR coaches to get to a few games, a long trip to Preston and Coventry amoung others, and they were useful, to say the least, so i'm not saying crap as it was, including last season.)

You never know but STAR take all the reasonable precautions they can.

M6 will be full of Villa, Chalrton, West ham, Reading, Man U (they're at home!) ...

To be fair the STAR coaches weren't the only ones late for Villa. I went with a Villain and he knows the area and we were still 10 minutes late. The roadworks had only just started and nobody had taken them into account. I think there may have been an accident also.

Used the star coaches on a number of times this year. Very good and good leaving times. Gets you there with plenty of time for a pre match drink or 5

Drive to Villa and was there before 7.

But, to be fair, the route I took right through the middle of Brum wouldn't have been suitable for coaches, and in any case the Police specify the route the coaches have to take.
