cheaper i would agree, but a tad harsh on those that volunteer, there must be a mailing agancy in Reading that could do a deal for a good cause, in return for a touch of goodwill and advertising.
I feel is unfair to ask so many folk to do a task for nowt to benefit the many.

Barry the bird boggler And could you re-join STAR there and then rather than wait for something untoward to happen to your specific renewal form in the post?

The 17 Bus No Ms Liason, I do not think that a few should work hard for the benefit of the many in a voluntary organisation, it should be a co operative where all put in, as and when they can, unfortunately too mnay seem to take the benefits and only put in the £10 a year for what they can get out of it.

Quite agree - so why when I ask for help do you suggest that we should spend money rather than encourage the many to come along and contribute?
We are considered to be good in the Supporters Trust movement in the number of volunteers we get at STAR, but even more would be a whole lot better. both for STAR and the volunteers.

He makes a valid point. STAR should make in complusory to come along, then each person could put their own form in an envelope and then post it to themselves. Easy.

Yes it could be sold as another benefit of STAR membership.
