Who is De Cruz?

I listened to about 5 minutes of the commentary last night and there was somebody playing for Reading called De Cruz according to the BBC commentators. Any relation De La Cruz per chance?

Its deliberate. If Tim said De La Cruz people would get confused thinking he (Tim) had taken up boating.
