Forbury Lion How turning the tables and having a guest presenter?

Either Christopher or David would do a fine job.

Following on from Oliver Holt, how about another football expert such as George W Bush?

Or maybe Tony Blair - he too can see things/evil that elude everyone else!

In the interest of balanced journalism and since your new best friend Ollie Holt is getting airtime, what about inviting John Madejski and Steve Coppell - the 2 people Holt has personally attacked in his column.

You can hear from Steve Coppell and John Madejski in the wake of the FA Cup draw for the sixth round here - Mr Madejski has already featured on the phone-in this season.

I can't help but feel our interview with Oliver Holt will do more to restore the balance in our coverage than damage it - up til now every guest we've had on has, quite rightly, had nothing but praise for the club and its successes this year!

You may be right, although it is the Royals phone in and the majority of listeners and callers are going to be Reading fans or neutrals who just love the sound of Tim's voice.

It would be good to have a few knowledgable neutrals on the show who can give a balanced view and discuss football as a whole. If someone has a criticism of the club and they can back it up then fair enough.

I know JM was on but that was before Holt started personally attacking him in his National Newspaper and if ever there was a guy who has done nothing to offend either Holt, his paper or his readership, its John Madejski.

"Oooh, he spends his money on The Arts and is a Tory supporter" and for this reason he should be vilified?

I heard the sound bite of SC saying what he would use the offending paper for and maybe thats all the comment that is needed but since Holt has launched his unprovoked attacks on JM and SC and since you are giving Holt an hour or more of airtime tonight, you ought to at least invite JM and SC on to the programme as a sort of right to reply.

They may politely decline (I suspect they would) but you should invite them and perhaps more importantly, you should be seen to be inviting them.

(rant over)

No, bring in the real hard man - Kevin Dillon!

Mind you a bit of kick boxing from Federici wouldn't go amiss either!
