Dirk Gently
Barry the bird boggler Is this the right place to ask if Tim can get an interview with Brendan to get his side of the story?

Yes, but you'll find that in such things any financial settlement usually has a "gagging clause", so don't hold your breath...

It seems the gag may have slipt a bit but 'Jonny carnt spel nuthink write Fordham' beat 'Tim public school English Dellor' to the interview.

However the Toff can now show that all those beatings at school did toughen him up by asking No Idea How some probing questions re what Rodgers has had to say. And don't let the Yam Yam barsteward off the hook!

Nick Hammond today, so maybe Tim is working his way up to the bigger fish who are truly responsible for the mess the club currently is in.

However, he needs to develop the Paxman style of questioning or they will just slip/spin their way out of trouble.

For starters perhaps John Madejski could be pushed to answer Mick Gooding's assertion that even Sir Alex Ferguson would struggle to produce a winning team at this level, given the number of quality players that have been sold/loaned out and the large number of new players that have been brought in. That could be followed up by asking him how he expects to get anything other than monkeys (again Mick's view) if the club is only paying peanuts.

And whatever you do, don't let him get off the hook by claiming that we have the largest squad! a) if loanees are taken into account it is not true and b) it's quality not quantity that matters - which would you opt for John, 15 Bentley's or 40 Mondeos?
