How about a BBCRB / Royals car sticker?

by purleyroyal » 18 Sep 2006 18:54

HNA had one, 107 had one, I even printed off the "Record Breaking Royals" that was posted half-way through the season and stuck it in my car with blutak (but it faded by May) - does BBCRB have one?
If so how can I get hold of it?
If not, why not?

C'mon Ollie, assuming you're not too knackered after your morris dancing last night, will there be such a beast?

We want one now!!!!!

Yea, I've banned 107FM from my house - I'm in the process of converting my GF to bbc berkshire. I started by sneakily changing her alarm to BBC berkshire.

I would happily stick a BBC Berks sticker on my car

I'll make enquiries. I had a hard enough time getting one for my car...

Morris dancing's tough going by the way. I challenge anyone to get through that unscathed - nursing a nasty thigh strain this morning.

they are cheap enough to get made though, as we looked into a champions one last season, about 20p each for couple of thousand.

Do they double up as security badges to park in the BBC Berks carpark? If so, I'll have one please

I notice 210 FM have come out of the woodwork for today's game too. They are truly bandwagon jumping t*ssers in my humble opinion.

Quite right RL.

These are the same fools who, throughout the mid-nineties, thought the local football team were called "the Reading Royals".

Still, football and synchronised swimming - it's easy to get them confused.

Oh the days of Neil Webb and Richard Shepherd and Classic Gold coverage.

Way back before BBC Berks existed (this would have been the mid to late 80s) 2-1-0 were the only local radio station and thats the only coverage we got - never though they provided more than match updates and sports desk snippets however - Steve Beddow did a stirling job but there was little output overall.

I'm told we're fast running out of the batch of car stickers we've got, but I have got my hands on 10 of them for HNA purposes.

Are there more than 10 people here that actually want one? If there are I'll run a prediction comp for the Liverpool cup game to win them, or something like that.

Doubling its value in the process (or halving the value of the sticker whichever way you look at it of course).....
