It was the guy next to him. The one in the green hoody looked about 10.

The_Cat I thought the stewards were poor today.

So did the Sheffield fans... See the observer!

The 5 year old, he did make me laugh. Covering his mouth with a scarf and putting his hood up after the stewards had a word.

The Blades Infant Firm out in full force.

earley_royals On the whole, absolutely useless.

I'd also like to know why the Sheffield United fan who pushed a steward over near the East Stand corner wasn't ejected from the ground.

Becuase the Shef fan was an undercover police officer!

The_Cat
Jackson Corner Why did the Stewards go to Y25 today? Was it standing?
Yes.

Nothing different to what happens at most games. Spoke to one of the stewards at half time and when asked why they were doing it his reply was because they're being arseholes in the control box.

PATHETIC

A few people got thrown out the south stand for standing and arguing with sheff utd fans (only seperated by a gangway) after colin / wally's bust up......think they were trying to complain about somthing that got chucked over....seemed a slight over reaction but i guess because the rest of the crowd in the south are a bit more timid (and average aged about 10) it was easier for them to control than the utd fans who were left alone.

I was in Y26 and unusually I saw the Stewards telling away fans to sit down.

Joe A few people got thrown out the south stand .

Did they really get thrown out or were they just asked to calm/sit down?

If people get thrown out for what you say they did then it doesn't really say much for the club and how they treat their own fans. It happens in the East Stand almost on a match by match basis but I doubt whether all these people being 'thrown out' are actually 'thrown out' more like being taken away from the eyes of other fans in order to pay lip service to the stewards on their power trips. I speak from experience.

I was right in the middle of the problems in the south stand, no one that I saw got thrown out. The Utd fans were being utter cocks, couldn't take the banter.
