Mascots at Home games

by OHFTP2006 » 02 Mar 2007 21:57

Has anyones child been a mascot at a game this season? if so how long did they have to wait, to get selected and was it worth the cost?

that's funny i know someone who had 2 mascots at the United game (cup last week) boy and girl is that the same ones you meant?

Apparently they'd been on the waiting list for 18months and got asked to do the cup match hwoever that meant they were actually doing it earlier than if they'd waited for a league game but as Willz said it was £250 per kid and you don't even get given a full kit for the child any more which i think is oxf*rd terrible!

no, this was in the league, but considering most clubs now do it for free, this is shambolic, i mean, how much is reading gonna benefit from £500, its pathetic

My boy was mascot at Chelsea home game. Cost was £250 plus the price of a full kit. He'd been on the waiting list since the middle of the season before last

Keep thinking about putting my girls forward for it. They adore Kingsley too!
Have RFC had identical twins as mascots yet? Might be a first.

Technicly yes, but it didn't really have the same ring to it.
