Will look into making the trip but can't see it happening what with all the various hotels you will have to book around Korea etc. as I expect the games will be miles and miles apart...

Skyline Presumably there will be chants of "We're all going on a South Korean tour" from the East Stand on Saturday?

Yeah, probably by retards with no intentions of ever going to an away game-let alone a pre season tour thousands of miles away

The guy behind all this, The Rev Sun Moon, was declared the Messiah in 2004 by his followers. First Uri Geller and now this!

Don't know how accurate this. Some of the possible participating clubs are supposed to be Tottenham, Schalke 04, Palermo, Lyon, Porto, Riverplate (Argentina), and Corinthians (Brazil).

I believe this is the "almost" final list - dependent of whether Spurs have to go the "Intertoto" route into Europe -- seems a pretty strong list of clubs!!! :D

Seongnam Ilhwa

Olympique Lyon

FC Porto

Reading FC

Tottenham Hotspurs

Palermo

River Plate

Guadalajara (sp? Mexican club Chivas??)

Reading v. River. My God, that would be worth travelling halfway round the world to see.

I can see me making a mad dash out there to take in a game, especially if we play River Plate !

I bet Coppell puts out his strongest team in a meaningless tournement in Korea and puts out reserves if we get to the UEFA Cup

I might if STAR arranges the group travel.

I'd love to see what time the coaches would leave for that one.

Of course for those who prefer the train, assuming the first game is 12th of July.

then you'd need a ferry past N Korea, and you'd be set.

Looks good, but I might be tempted to use the SWT service direct to Waterloo

It is generally the done thing to play all members of your first team squad in such fixtures.

It's called preparation.

It's called pre-season. You're obviously too young to have been through one before.

Why have they suggested walking from Padders to the 'loo?
