Coppelled Streets
RG30 What about when we play Derby and Fulham? It all varies on short and socks colours but we'll still use Red when absolute necessary next year.

Well of course we will. The red kit is the 3rd choice so it stands to reason.

If the colours suggested are correct then there will be no games where we will have to where a 3rd strip. Unless we play a team who wear blue and black.

Yeovil, Doncaster or Darlington away in the cup? Think outside the bowl!

Who wear green, red and black with white respectively.

Meaning that either the home or rumoured away kit would be fine.

They've made the red kit the "3rd" kit simply because we've only had it for one year and it looks better just to relegate it than disguard it altogether.

They were hoping to use it for the European kit...

The senior megastore bloke that has supposedly seen the new kit I think is bullshitting. He's been well drilled and it's more than his jobs worth? (Jobsworth about fits here). Bollox. Just wanted to look like he was on the inside of the circle of knowledge.

Deadlock I liked the old blue and yellow hoops, and at least we'll have a third kit in place so we won't have the problems we did at Brighton and Wigan in '93.

I like the idea of beating say Everton on their own dung heap wearing their away kit.

They're just trying to be as good as Barca with a similar away strip.

You might be right, Harold, but I just assumed that he was talking about the Barca team that knocked Chelsea out of the CL in 2006.

Just goes to show how bad Barca are at the moment. Quite likely that they won't win the Spanish Championship, and they got beaten by a team that wasn't good enough to win the English Premiership - even though Chelsea are quite probably the richest club in the World.

Chelsea dropped one place over last season, Reading climbed 13 places. How much did Reading spend for each of those places? And how much did Chelsea spend on their fall from grace?

I wonder if the rot has started to set in at Chelsea, or will it take another season or two for the inevitable to happen?
