Fair play although as its the FA Cup don't the away side get a 50/50 split of the gate receipts.

Also not come from the players but the club itself so its an entirely different comparison.

And a good gesture aswell, its not like Stockport are the most financially sound club in England either is it! I'm not saying we're financially sound at Reading, but would it not hurt for the club to back up its players and stick another 5K in the kitty? they probably make that amount on Programme sales from one match alone.

I think you will find that Stockport is financially sound relatively speaking in the world of football - it is not rolling in cash though which is not the same thing at all. It is controlled by its Supporters Trust so it has to be financed within its earning capacity as it does not have a personal wealth of millions that so many Reading fans think our chairman should spend on our club.

That said Vision is right though that a gesture from the club and a gesture from the players are two very different things. A gesture from the club is likely to be funded from its revenue from its customers (ie us amongst others) and a gesture from the players is from their pockets. Both are laudable but very different.

There are still seats available on the coaches to Man City, we are open this evening from 7.15pm-9pm
