And you started the decibel thread as well...obsessed.

Totally. Pointless. Thread. Again.

Bit like us in January, really.

The Chelsea tangos were clearly under orders to stand at certain incidents in the game (not least their corners) - I enjoyed telling the one next to me to "sit down".

You support Reading FC, so standing up at football matches and creating good atmospheres will not happen so I'm afraid you're just going to have to get over it.

Agreed! That must have been one of the best away days i have ever been too. However on two occasions at Villa and Birmingham i have had some middle aged couple demand i sit down when i remain standing for more then 10 seconds into the half.Fair enough i agree that while there isn't a segregated place for people to stands its not really right to block there view. The couple at Villa really did piss me off. When they weren't having a go at me they were sat there in silence NOT singing and then as soon as Villa scored there third they oxf*rd off! Why do they even bother coming to live games? Worst support i've ever seen.

Officially, No. It all depends upon the attitude of the local Council safety/licensing officer and the Football Licensing Authority rep for that ground - and in particular how much pressure they put the club under in enforcing the rules, and how much the club pushes back and says that those rules are unenforceable.

The 17 Bus that atmosphere made all the difference to the Team at Fulham...

They did play with a lot more urgency than they had in the previous few games. We could have won it.

It was a great day out and no.13 were on top form. I think the promiximity of a good away pub was a significant factor.

I reckon we could have got away with standing at Chelski this time (lower tier anyway) but the crowd just wasn't up for it.

I always end up with some old or disabled oxf*rd behind me. Most annoying, due to my excellent morales.

I just hope that it doesn't happen to you one day. Perhaps you'd feel better if old or disabled people were exterminated so as not to inconvenience you or impact on your excellent morale.

Except it's nothing to do with The FA. Read this and the multitude of othr threads which explain the situation and then you might understand a bit better.

I was stood for 80% of the Chelski away in the lower tier..and when the few of us were standing the atmosphere was a million times better (What a surprise  )

It was interesting to see at the Villa v Newcastle game last week, Mike Ashley and his hangers on all in the front row of the stand, and on their feet throughout. And when a tub of lard like that stands up in the front row it means the entire stand needs to if they want to see anything. Not exactly a great example to set for the riff raff.
