Couldn't believe a Sigur Ros' song is now being used (The one off BBC's Natural Planet).

Not exactly the most motivating music in the world.

What an odd video the Back The Boys one was with the aforementioned Sigur Ros tune in the background. Seemed to serve no purpose whatsoever other than to massage their ego's

Schards#2 Time for an edit of that bloody video too, take out the WE WON'T BE NEXT bollox and remove the artists impression of the extention that will never be.

Or just switch the channel over to Enders.

Though, to be fair, the playing of Sigur Ros did brighten my spirits for a short time, probably the best bit of the whole game for me.

The blokes name is Paul Allen, you are correct FLTLR that he works in a bank and rumours suggest every Friday before a home game he's got his words/speech practised in the car park. It's on little things like this that input from the fans is needed.

Bring back JR!

The best PA Man we ever had and, IMO, very wrongly encouraged to resign by the Directors for saying what everyone (including, I suspect, the Directors themselves) were thinking.

IIRC his words were something along the lines of 'Some may say forgive and forget. That's maybe but let's never let him forget what a great set of supporters he left behind........'

Does anyone remember the time at Elm Park they had the bright idea of broadcasting crowd sound effects over the PA system? I think the idea was to encourage the team when crowds typically were around 3000 in the 4th Division. If I remember correctly they only managed to do it once and were then reprimanded by the league following a complaint fromthe opposition.

To be honest, almost everything pre-game and at half time is nothing else but cringeworthy.

Cringeworty PA,
Cringeworthy fans,
Cringeworthy football.

Here are todays teams :

" Number 10..John Oster "
*Pause while he reflects on his awful mistake*
*and then says quitely which made me laugh*
" Number 11 .. Stephen Hunt.

Plus the pre-match video should be edited.
The stuff at the beginning with "we will not be next"
Shouldn't we not be thinking of relgation and focusing on..

" Europe here we come "

And please take out the numerous players who don't play for us :

Peter Mate
Seol

Other than that.

I don't see why we don't just have cheer-leaders, with large breasts. Anything else is just a poor substitute. Four groups, one in front of each stand. Job done.

If it is that cringeworthy you could always switch over and watch Eastenders.

I don't tend to take my remote to matches, to be honest.

I watched MOTD on Saturday (didn't go to the game), and it was even annoying just hearing him in the background. It's not so much his announcements that are annoying, it's just the way he does them.

EVERYTHING ENDS WITH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
