Ian Royal I usually get a single there and walk back. Fecked if I'm standing in a queue for more than 5 minutes when I could go for free and get some excercise.

Give this man a hand. How far is it from the station to the ground....... 3 miles? At a slow walking pace of 4 miles per hour it will take you 45 minutes giving you free exercise and a nice warm feeling that you are not accepting the inflated prices of the bus company. I'm all for public transport and getting people out of their cars but you have to demonstrate that it's a good deal. The fact that four adults in a cab is a cheaper method of transport is simply ludicrous.

Huntley & Palmer
Skyline No, from the town centre it's £3.50 (the 77 and 79). The 'inner zone' on local routes is $4.50 (wherever that covers), but it's not the shuttle buses.

It's still pushing the limits of what's an acceptable price though.

I'll be intrigued to see what they charge LI, their return tickets to the Mad were £2.60 as opposed to £3 anyway. It's something I have never been able to work out, are they saying that less people use the football match days than the rugby ones, or is it just a blatant over charge for football fans as always

So, anyone used the buses for LI home games this season? Are the prices cheaper than for the football?

Not that I'm thinking of going to watch them play, I'm just curious if football fans are being shafted again.
