cardiff fans moaned about no sheep, so we gave them horses instead.

They got the trampling and batoning they deserved for being on the pitch twice.
But doobs and hunty incited them alot after we scored and after the whistle. Expect more from our players.
But doobs was getting awful abuse for last 40 mins

Agreed. What were the other nine doing?

Doobs jumped on A Fed and fist-pumped towards the Cardiff fans. Then Rosenior went up to them and did the same.

The rest I assume were just in the middle, calm.

Garlic salt on icy Iowa roads > horses on the pitch

Hunty ran up at the end and pumped his arms in the air in celebration. To be fair, if A Fed had been up at the other goal, I'm certain none of our players would have been anywhere near the Cardiff fans. Yes, Duberry should not have retaliated, but all I saw during the game was him sarcastically applauding the Cardiff fans when they persistently shouted "grass" at him. Calling him a rent boy was also out of order, but it's what away fans do.

Cardiff aren't what they used to be.

Poor attempt at a pitch invasion given that all you have to do is jump over the advertising boards. The class of 98 were far superior. At least they had the bottle to continue what they started.

Dubbery got a load of abuse from the Cardiff fans. They were on the pitch twice during the match and there were coins thrown. Dubbery or any of the Reading players do not deserved to be punished. The Cardiff fans should.

Horses on the pitch? I think that's a bit OTT.

Not really. The police were losing control on the far side near the West Stand with Cardiff fans were on the perimeter track throwing punches. The horses were a wise move.

To be fair, I thought the stewards and TVP handled it reasonably well.

Cowardice of the stewards

by Big Foot » 26 Dec 2008 18:04

Big enough and ugly enough to slap silly bans on fans for gesturing and standing up but when 25-30 Cardiff run on the pitch and abuse our own players they're nowhere to be seen.

PATHETIC

Great day out.

Rosenior & Doobs ran over and gave it large. Fair play to them.

Stewards had no clue whatsoever, the Tango's were running scared. The OB and then Riot police had to step in and stop Cardiff getting into Y26. Couldn't see what happened on the pitch.

Reading FC Stewards - absolute disgrace.

Horses were called onto the pitch as some Cardiff fans attempted a pitch invasion. Fed was mobbed by the players with Doobs and Rosey fist pumping the air in celebration. Doobs took the abuse really well but i don't feel the Reading fans did anything to protect him or support him during the abuse, expect more.

Best bit from the cardiff fans was the Zulu part with the head thing  made me chuckle as everyone found it hilarious.

Onwards to St. Mary's :D

URZ!!!
