Sarah Star Still sits in the East Stand though.
Knowing full well that is where the singing happens. The man can't be that daft, if I had a problem getting up and never got involved I would give moving stands serious consideration..

y26 royal The atmosphere created by the home and away fans in the corner where the scoreboard is should be considered! I've often thought when we have the big crowds more of an advantage would be gained if Reading fans were housed in the east side of the south stand rather than the west! That corner seems to sound great between home and away fans! Obviously not in the championship as we dont have big enough crowds! I remember going to derby when they had just come down from the prem and there fans we housed in a similar way and they had a great atmosphere!

Quite an interesting point. But does that mean the away fans only have half the south stand (the west side of). Cos in the prem, wouldn't they want all the south stand?
I think it would be quality if we had the east side of the south stand as well as the east stand. Then that whole corner would get intense and loud and people that wanna sing could always get a seat in the good atmos area (something I struggle to do with monotonous regularity). I just feel we are consistently let down by the club, it's as if they believe it is entirely their plaything to do with as they wish and they seem to forget that football is a FAN's game ffs. Why do they continue to make the matchday 'experience' so bloody difficult.

In the prem last time the away fans got half the south stand (east side) with the other half Being Reading fans (west side), so my point was just swapping the half around! But the corporate thing is a fair point, but i know i'd much prefer a electric atmosphere than keeping the prawn sandwhich brigade happy!
