SB1871, TBM and TFF,

The people who deserve the sympathy are those who are victims of the TZ on-line system crashing and failing to provide tickets. STH, Member or not, independent of however early they were on-line or on the phone, however long they hung on.

Royal Lady We'd need 7 anyway.

I'm sure the money will be taken out later and our tickets will arrive in the next day or so.

If you thought that, why did you kick up such a huge fuss :?:

Good effort from the club and fans.

FL and Wembley, hang your heads in shame.

Do Ticketzone have exclusive rights to Wembley's games and gigs? I've just been studying the EU's competition law regarding abuse of dominant position; I'm amazed that Ticketzone is allowed to sell it all exclusively. Abuse of monopoly at its worst; poor service, followed by a piss take "service charge" and a complete lack of respect to customers. There should be several licensed ticketing agents for this event, firstly so that no one server gets overloaded. Secondly, and more importantly, if a service is as utterly shite as Ticketzone people can go somewhere else and Ticketzone get very little money. Should I write to the European Commission or a similar trade office in the UK? (Pointless question, I have my ticket so I don't care that much any more!)

Not much of a monopoly in our case, rhroyal, bearing in mind that one could also buy tickets from Reading and Swansea.

Don't waste your time, I'm snot sure competition law aplies here, as TZ were acting as selling agents for the FL- I've taken it up with the Football League.

I assume you say that from within an hour or so's journey from the Mad Stad?

Luck of the draw - as with any ticket distribution. I'm sure that everyone who spent time trying to call on the second day of their qualifying period got through without too much difficulty.

I was really lucky, got through first time I dialled and held in queue for just a few minutes.

We'll see how great it all was if every single one of the ticketzone online/telephone tickets arrives.

If you're a neurotic, middle-aged woman, I'd say about three hours ago.

Yep. They were offering a (theoretically) more convenient way of buying tickets than the alternative, not the only way, particularly bearing in mind that all you needed to get a ticket from the ground was one member card and a load of other people's member nos. (All a bit irrelevant isn't it - I didn't think that a monopoly was a necessary requirement, abuse of a dominant position and all that.)

To anyone who lives within an hour of the ground, ive got no sympathy if you booked through ticketzone.

Wasn't it only through ticketzone that you could purchase more than 6 tickets? :|

True, it's not a necessary requirement. Even if it's not a monopoly, they're abusing a dominant position shamelessly.
