It will take me 20-25 mins to go back to Reading & then 40 mins to Paddington so takes the same amount of time for me.

Anyway - pub suggestions??

The Hole In The Wall, 5 Mepham St, London, SE1 8SQ could be a good starter for you. Are you going with others/meeting up etc.

Yeah it has a good rating and is local to the train station. As least it will loosen up the vocal chords. Have fun.

Excellent - not too fussy on location really. Just don't want to get maimed!

I'm taking my 12yr old daughter - W'loo to Canning Town. Bus from there up Barking Rd to Upton Park. Will have a spare hand if yours needs holding too.

If you are arriving at Waterloo - the Wellington maybe a little bigger than the HITW. Or indeed the Old Firestation.

You can keep your after-match pubs. Stop at the Chocolate Festival at South Bank... yum yum

Big Foot
robbieroyal I haven't been excited for a game like this one for years!!!

The atmosphere, the last time we took 3k fans

Would probably be Coventry away last season - no reason to get excited at all

Were you excited today BigFoot??

I showed my ticket to a West Ham STH on the train home who didn't know that that logo was on there. He was not impressed (although he was complimentary of our performance).
