Championship winner items in the shop (or rather not)

Went in to the Megastore the other week to buy a few memorable items such as we are champions or championship winning team like there was when we last went up and was more than disappointed to discover that there wasn't anything (other than 1 t-shirt, a mug which both relate to being in the premiership, a coaster, foam finger and jester hats/top hats both of which were on sale last season for Wembley so nothing new). When I asked if there was anything else or anything coming in I was told that there wasn't other than a book and dvd, has anyone else heard anything about this and what do people think - Swindon have got stuff and Man City have got loads of stuff so why haven't we. A few tops with Championship winning team 2011/2012, car stickers or something would be nice. What does everyone else think???

Man City had a whole range of stuff in the shop the day after thet won the league. 2 weeks later we have a couple of mugs and a big bad wolf T shirt!

Not surprised City had a load of stuff - they can afford to take the risk on getting it manufactured in advance with all the billions they can afford to waste!

£24 to pre-order the book (incl. £4 delivery) and the DVD which I will no doubt buy at some point is probably enough for me, though I do still wear my (bootleg) tshirt from 2006.

Each to their own though as far as wallet-emptying goes.

They were late to the party in 06 (the entrepreneurial street traders cleaned up with some imaginative, reasonable quality products on sale at Leicester!) so maybe they are even later this time around!

Suffice to say, RFC needn't fear their head of merchandising being poached by Lord Sugar!

Often thought the merchandising team could do better. Obviously they've got a budget to work to, but I think they could improve their revenue by bringing out a few choice items.
