If they've got to hobnob, you wonder who else might be working for the dark side

I'm still here...........

On a serious note, I hope STAR learn from this, and make it clear to everyone what the etiquette is for the forum.
I was blissfully unaware - I've never been to any before, it's my first year in STAR, and in honesty, I've never seen any complaints on here regarding a lack of information about the forums (to be frank, I was barely aware that the forums took place, let alone have time for scanning every thread on this 'ere forum for information on them). Given that, and the fact that I didn't think that anything Brian said was "dynamite" or "breaking news" (for me the forum was simply about having an entertaining evening out - Brian is a very entertaining speaker- a chance to speak directly to Brian and certainly wasn't about putting myself more ITK than the next man) I really didn't see a problem with a summary for those unable to attend...

I know now that I've been a very naughty boy, and I will not do it again!!!!

this lot couldn't organise a news blackout in a power cut

is he banned, isn't he? freedom fighters are running amok on The Team board on Cypry's behalf but where are STAR, its generals and footsoliders alike? poor show.

Basically STAR have again shown themselves to be a poorly run outfit. Fair play that it's run by amateurs (it shows) and people who've got day jobs, but to miss a basic schoolboy trick like this is very poor.

One minute they're bleating about an increase in new members, the next they're failing these very same members by not laying out the ground rules. Unbelievable.

Glad I cancelled my membership with them 5+ years ago.

Not sure as to the history of why it is called the Supporters Trust at Reading but it may be a good time to set up a modern-thinking group of people who represent Reading fans in the modern era.

RR are a bunch of massive pcunts

If I was building a bonfire, I'd start with STAR, put RR on the top and then have a slash over the lot before torching you all

Either that or STAR should be forced to rebrand, something like...

LoyalRoyalFan HobNob > STAR.

It says a lot about STAR that rather than see this forum as an opportunity and tool to help communicate with the fans they see it as a threat and wish it didn't exist (they've said as much in the past).

This just sums STAR up for me...a bunch of 'do-gooder' types who can basically organises coaches for those who don't have the means to get to away games and that's about it!!..they like to think they have some sort of power/voice for the fans which the club listen to. But let's face -it football is a business and no matter how much 'huffing and puffing' said 'do-gooders' do they aren't going to affect the running of the club, even more so with the new owners coming in.

It annoys me that a fairly new poster posts an innocent summary of last night which quite frankly contained very little 'top secret' info, yet the 'do-gooders' have got the thread removed... GET A GRIP...or alternatively, act responsibly towards those you supposedly represent and have the decency to post up your own summary, rather than get all cliquey about it...

Just a shame I didn't copy and paste the original thread as I'd be reposting it as we speak!!! :o

And to think they want new members...why would I want to join something and have to pay for it knowing that I can't talk about what's said... it's not the feckin' Freemasons or do they have some secret handshake and a special fleece!!!
