What does Anton Zingarevich actually DO?

by Archie's penalty » 22 Oct 2012 19:16

I'd like to know. He doesn't say anything publicly, he hardly spends any money on the team. I believe it's time we started to ask the question if this takeover was actually good for the club or not. I miss Sir John!

As per my thread a few weeks back. Anton hasn't been very visible recently has he, not a word in fact.

He regrets it.

The fact he is not a publicity seeking megalomaniac like Madjeski I am quite happy about.

The fact that he goes to the games and doesn't try to take the publicity I am quite happy about.

The fact that at least he understands you cannot now splash the cash now until Janaury I am quite happy about.

The fact that he obviously gave more money to McD than he actually spent pre-season, I am not happy about.

What do you actually expect him to be doing given that he's kept SJM on as chairman?

He's an investor not a fcking cheerleader.

That's a bit of a lofty concept for Ideal.

Try not to confuse the poor fella with all that technical jargon.

He is, in the infrastructure, the stuff that actually increases the value of a company.

Not to mention the investment that allowed us to bring in Roberts in January.

Not very bright are you?

Bit difficult to spend cash in October. Rumours abound that hes pissed off McD didn't spend more.

Maybe he should send Katsia into the dressing room before the game with Golden Goal tickets with a slight deviation on the prize?

We spent at least £10m in transfer and signing on fees in the close season.

We cannot spend any more until January.

You are a fcuking moron.

He is investing in the infrastucture of the club such as new training facilities to give us top academy status & produce more home grown talent

My point really was he didn't invest enough in the team in the summer. And he doesn't seem to be saying very much. I'd prefer a more vocal owner.

I seem to remember us spending about £5M..

And this year, with the super rich AZ, we spent.. oh.. £5M.

Oh dear! That's quite a conundrum.

You again seem to have left the wages out of the equation.

Of course he doesn't regret it. If he sold the club right now he'd just have made around a £50m+ profit. Although, really, this should be about whether Boris regrets it.
