East Stand y24/25/26 tickets

by Jobbo no.11 » 05 Nov 2012 14:32

Just a quick question.
Not being a season ticket holder any more was wondering if there are any seats available in the y25/26 area this year or is it all season tickets. Even odd single seats?

'greed.

Although at least we keep the 'tards in one part of the ground as opposed to certain other clubs who allow them into all areas of the Stadium.

Its the only part of the ground that even represents a football atmosphere.

Went in the North for Newcastle, was told to be quiet as there was a 7 year old kid having his afternoon nap in front of us.

True story.

If you were in the North Stand then you would have had a touch of reality to how much Y26/25 get rinsed by visiting supporters. No matter what they believe - happens every match - and then they blame everyone else.

Who else should people who sing blame, for people not singing? Themselves? But they are the ones singing? So maybe they should blame everyone else.

If you want to sing at a Reading game, the only place to do it and not feel resented is to do it in Y26.

If you want to sing, go there, if you don't, go anywhere else.

Does it make you retarded for wanting to sing at football matches, it provides a 2nd form of entertainment, not just the football.

I feel sorry for people that only have the football, it's awful 3/4 of the time.

To go back to the initial question, rung the club yesterday and they told me that "there will be no tickets available in the entire east stand unless season ticket holders move". Contradicts rumours i have heard off other people but that is what i have been told!

Perhaps someone has bought a few Season Tickets and sells them on. It happens.

I love being in Y26 - best atmosphere, best fun. Thank god I don't sit with the dour-faced miserable bastards elsewhere.

Well we got a seat in Y26 for the Everton game so I think that's rubbish.

Luck of the draw, though - if someone phones up just after a STH has moved seats to sit with someone else for a match, then they'll be seats available there.

Might not happen at all for some matches, might happen a lot for others.

But to say it never happens and "is rubbish" because the one time you tried it it wasn't possible is a bit rich.....
