All wear protective eyewear to this to protect you against the coin throwers.

Would someone mind posting when their tickets arrive, please, so I can call my hotel and tell them to watch for them? It would be much appreciated. :)

Generally whichever day you ordered them they tend to arrive 3 or days later (or as has been the case for me everytime I ordered tickets).

Thanks, folks!

When we booked this trip, I didn't think we'd be 6 points adrift and looking rudderless. Oh well.

arthurfondrelli Been there thrice already, and I don't think anything will ever beat the 2-0 in 2007. A Leroy Lita masterclass in finishing

I was there too, Lita was my favourite player back then so Ioved it even more. He should of had a hat trick as well, had one wrongly disallowed in the first half but still, what a day.

Yep. His choice, was since the fixtures came out, luckily he's grounded and is enjoying this season for what it is. Loves Reading and can't understand why his mates all support the big teams but never see them play. very proud I am too. Unfortunately it means I have to (with my 40 years of experience) sit through a probable 90 minutes of Drubbing.

LOL! Actually, not too long after. It seemed like a good idea at the time - Visit relatives for Christmas, see Reading in the EPL, and take the kids on a holiday before my daughter goes to university. Everything came together very well, except for RFC holding up their end!

That said, despite the awful form, probable lousy weather, and assumed (and understandable) lack of enthusiasm from the supporters, we're going to enjoy ourselves. We're just hoping we score a goal. ;)

Exactly what me and my mates will be doing when we go to this game, enjoy ourselves! We may lose the game and concede lots of goals (and probably will) but it's the xmas weekend, we plan to get pissed, sing loud, support the team and to keep with christmas spirit, dress as santas and just generally enjoy the occasion. I'm well looking forward to this weekend coming up. Also never been to the Etihad so that will be a new experience.

Absolutely fine. As previously mentioned, I can see the stadium from mine, less than 0.3 miles as the crow flies. There is plenty of residential parking, albeit it says that you need a permit, for the closests roads (no one ever does), but you don't need anything where I am. M11 3NP is a road people park along, less than 10 minute walk to the ground.

Anyone know how well (or not very) this game has sold. Interested to know roughly how many we'll be taking for this game.
