bobby1413 Sounds like you need to grow a pair and man up. You're 20, tell your Dad to shove his ticket, you're moving.

I thought you were 12 the way you posted that message originally.

If I was 12, I wouldn't be bothered about sitting with the other children would I?
Ideally I don't want to sit by myself, might see if an old school friend still sits in the East Stand, for 2014/15, if my Dad won't move.

From 2004-2007 I had a ST on my own. In fact in 2004 I didn't know any other people in the stadium.

I did quickly get chatting to the regulars from the ground, particularly by going to away games.

Went to my first match when I was 5, I'm hardly going to go by myself am I?
I'm also not going to ditch my family, just to sit on my own for the sake of it.
If I do move, it'll be for a better atmosphere, not just so I can tell people on the internet that I sit by myself.

Given that for many, going to football is one of few things that can be a genuine family activity, telling his Dad to 'shove his ticket' probably isn't the best advice this board has ever offered up.

I don't really see my family these days and never really did much with them when younger. I guess my ignorance and advice is probably heavily influenced by that!

(PS: don't tell him to shove it ;-) just beg him to move with you!)

Well said.

Hope your Dad and sister agree to move - East Stand is more fun!

When the Stadium was first built, I thought that they had got everything just about spot on-the after a couple of seasons in the East Stand- I got fed up with a lack of space in the concourse before the game -so moved to the North Stand-however when we have 20000 plus in that concourse gets rammed as well-not a lot the Club can do about this though.

To be honest I'm amazed they let 20,000 in the North Stand.

Part of the North, South and East Stand expansions is to provide bigger concourses, and an additional one above as well.

When do we actually get our season tickets?

I expect the last week of July. The points have already gone on.

Should be now. I ordered mine Wednesday and the guy said I should get it in 1-2 days as its first class post.

So far nothing received though.

That's one of the reasons why there's a premium on UW seats. The concourses there have fewer people to cater for, so queues are generally shorter than the North or East stands.
