Burnley is an odd match to pick given that it's the Reading beer festival weekend and a 12:15 kick off.

Still, in for an early GOB.

Anyone planning on hitting the beerfest bear in mind that Saturday is split into 2 sessions - 11:00 - 16:30, and 18:00 - 23:00

The queues are rediculous though. Took 2 hours last time I went.

Tim, Adie and Mick say they're going down if RFC a get a good result

I got the impression Mick doesn't drink.

 You shitting me?

It's free in the afternoons and £5 in the evening at Cambridge! £18 is absurd.

Just checked again + you get 2 drinks tokens. I saw the price on the website & assumed it was entrance only. Still taking the p1ss I think.

Yeah, website is as clear as wheat beer. Not sure if they've tried the split session on Saturday in recent history, can see even the priority queue making a bid for Twyford.

They had split sessions on both Friday and Saturday last year. Just split on the Saturday this year. In for the evening. 8)

Plenty of WB beer being bandied about outside the East stand today....sadly, I couldn't be arsed to join one of the lengthy queues.

Great to see, but can it be allowed to last? it must be impacting on the foyer takings surely.

Tried the West Berks beer outside East Stand yesterday and I have to say it was very good! Well done to them.

Not a bad day at all in the end. Pint of GoB before the game, another at half time, comedy pitch invasion, and didn't have to queue for too long to get into the beer festival.

The GOB was majestic. It's not served that well in most of the pubs I've had it in - especially the 3 Guineas

According to the STAR management meeting notes the beer franchise is due for renewal so things may change.

The concourse offering is abhorrent, over priced, and staffed by dimwits who can barely count, let alone act off of their own initiative. If they don't continue with the GOB I will simply stick to drinking a couple of bottles of Hobgoblin from the newsagents on Basingstoke Rd for the walk to the ground.

The problem is, if they move it inside, it'll have to go through the same shittily maintained pipes and get served by the same 10 thumbed half-wits, whilst you queue behind 15 lager wanting numpties who think McAnuff is shite.
