Still not sold out then? Pretty sure a couple on here were suggesting it would sell out before it went to general sale.....

Anyway, can't wait for this. A chance for the players to really earn their wages and send us home happy and with a FA Semi Final to look forward to.

Just seen the bookies have Bradford as favourites. We could be the cup upset.

Last time I went - that was admittedly some years ago - there was free street parking around Cape St.

That looks horrendous - about what I played on in Prospect Park this time of year 30 years ago...

Their game tonight against Crawley is on too

We need some of Brian's old boys back for this - at least they got stuck in

09.47 from Manchester Victoria to Bradford Interchange along the Calder Valley line - characterful towns of Todmorden & Hebden Bridge are the pick of the journey.

It takes 1 hour - nice journey once you get past Rochdale.

11:52 from Shipley with stunning vistas of the Frizinghall tenements and the scrap metal yard

The Manchester Piccadilly train goes Marsden, Holmfirth, Huddersfield way and the views are stunning but it goes to Leeds but you can then get a train to Bradford Forster Square which is a lot closer to the ground than Interchange

As parking is bound to be limited street parking, anyone have any advice on parking generally round there. Are there businesses offering reasonably safe matchday parking, are the city centre car parks within reasonable walking distance etc.

Street parking is generally better downhill from the stadium so along Canal Rd and on some of the industrial estates off Canal Rd are ok. It's not normally too bad on a normal match day but obviously, Saturday's match will have double the normal attendance. It's about a 5-10 minute walk form the ground. The side roads off Manningham Rd uphill from the ground tend to be permit only or 1hr parking and traffic is a nighmare after the game so avoid.

Don't park in Tesco, they monitor the car park, don't park at Forster Square Retail Park, it's a nightmare to get out of. There is a private car park across Valley Rd from Forster Square, opposite MacDonalds which is all right. It's about a fiver for all day parking and there's a back exit which allows you to get out of Bradford through the back streets. There's a couple more like that on Manor Row, (I would describe how to get there but it's easier to google map it and work it out for yourself) (All a 5-10 minute walk from the ground)

There are plenty of multi storeys in the City Centre which are all signposted but they are more expensive and a bit further away from the ground (15-20 minutes walk).

I should also point out for anyone driving that Bradford by an absolute country mile has the worst drivers in Britain. Do not take it for granted that people will obey red lights and if anyone is indicating, assume that the direction they are indicating is the one direction they won't be going.
