Damn sight better than the ubiquitous ashes and at least has some RFC background so why not play it and stick to it and instead of whining why don't we all start singing along at some point...

About time! Not having our own song is embarrassing!

One of the worst songs ever. Good as a celebratory song but its not at all stirring and won't get the crowd going. Much prefer Hey Baby

This isn't Pick of the Pops it is a search for a rousing song that will get people singing. Sweet Caroline clearly achieves that, just like Delilah etc. As to 'won't get the crowd going' look around you, it works.

Good move by the club. How about go one better & remove Ashes form the playlist altogether? Fcuking dreadful. Still can't believe people voted for that crock of shite as the club anthem.

05/06 was all about Ashes & Lux Aeterna with this making a late entry via the players as I recall.

Really? As opposed to having the speakers blaring out Sweet Caroline with the sound regularly cut for the "fans" to join in?

Talk about artificial, talk about plastic... that was seriously embarrassing tonight.

Give it time & everyone will get used to it....If we'd started with it in Aug everyone would be used to it now.

It's the right choice for our anthem & was the song that accompanied the greatest season in our history. I think people should have a laugh with it & get involved.

Hopefully the club keep at it & don't stop.

You aren't really in for them whole football experience are you. Songs like this have formed part of that for decades.

If the atmosphere in the ground was decent they wouldn't be looking for ways to "artificially" improve it.

The club need to get there timings right if they are to continue to play Sweet Caroline before kick off.

Get all the announcement out the way first, then put the music on when the teams are shaking hands.

Ever been to Wolves, or Villa, or Chelsea, or West Ham or Liverpool ?

Their'song' blasted out over the loudspeakers, in the case of Hi Ho Silver lining with pauses for the crowd to join in....

I"m not a huge fan but last night it worked, by the time it had been on 2or 3 times the whole ground was joining in, apart from the one or two sensitive souls who were embarrassed in amongst the 14,000. Stick to singing songs about stabbing Swindon fans.....
