Not this morning, but Tuesday and Friday I had different issues with the website on different scales. Tuesday took me 3 hours to buy, Friday about 45 minutes. Lots of queuing and waiting for pages to reload. On Tuesday it took me back to the start after I'd entered CC details. Best of luck.

Okay that may explain it, thank you.

I thought the new level of points kicked in at 9am today not 10am.

I'm also on the phone, listening to Neil Diamond, in the queue trying to get through........

I've not heard Sweet Caroline for some years.....

I got through on the phone. Tried on old trick of pressing ## whilst on hold, which put me straight to the front of the queue. Boom! Seven tickets now purchased. See you all in the pub!

I know a few who have 500 to 700 points that are not bothering to get a ticket for the semi final as they have not been to a game for over three years.

There was no queing on the website just now.

I think they're going to general sale personally.

Club just posted that member card holders with>50pts can buy on Monday.

Looks like I panicked a bit unnecessarily with getting my ticket ahead of my m8s then.

So about 80% of our 100,000 members have 300 points or less. Good old Reading FC!

This is disappointing. Basically we could have had +1s and there'd still be tickets available.

Once again the club make a right mess of something that should be so simple. The decision not to allow season ticket holders a +1 was just plain stupid and it has come back to bite them - and it is likely to bite them again come renewal time.

Am really disappointed that the club chose to pander to a few whining plastics rather than reward those fans that show the biggest commitment to the club year in and year out.

I wonder if there's an issue with many lapsed fans on decent points just not wanting to spend £30+ and travel to see us not only lose again at Wembley, but get dicked this time.

I imagine there's probably a fair few with big points who are dead. I wonder whether anyone would notify the club about a death and the card get cancelled... probably not would be my guess.

it really isn't difficult to look at the points data and do a piece of basic analysis on the attendance patterns of each member holder. And Wembley is never a cheap day out. Remember kids go very cheaply at RFC - the minimum price for Wembley will be 23 quid.

General sale here we come.

I've got 38 points. I take it the club will put a new category in for people with 30-plus points.

I probably fall in to this category. I now live 230 miles from Reading, I still go to a home game every 6 weeks or so visiting family in Reading and some northern away games. In hard financial times I can't justify spending what will be £200 on me and my eldest driving down and getting the train to the game etc, when I can spend £20 watching it in my local, or even watching it at home.

Just being pragmatic; if it was a play off final I would be there. Having been a supporter for 35 years I would love to be at Wembley for the game but I have other demands on my limited disposable income.
