How many minutes before the end did you leave?

by Green » 21 Apr 2015 09:37

About 3 for me, I was right up in the gods but allowed enough time to get back to the tube ahead of the masses.

stayed to applaud the team, of course (self righteous gif). Surprised how few did tbh.

Then walked to Brent Park Tescos and 332 bus to Kilburn tube. Took ages. Few other lost Royals doing the same.

Was pretty much the last person out of the ground.

I stayed until the end to cheer the lads. Thought it was very disappointing how many left before the end considering the great performance. Was worth staying despite adding to the journey time home.

I stayed till the end to rightly applaud the boys.

Left my seat at the final whistle for a brisk walk to Wembley Central Tube.

I was  at the thread title thinking "can't mean Wembley surely?"

The idea of leaving before the final whistle never even entered my head.

I stayed until the end and watched players go off. Clapping them whilst doing so.

Just never occurred to me to leave. Partly as I thought we may still score and partly as I felt compelled and a duty to applaud them after

I cried and left straight after the whistle.

I left about 5 minutes after the final whistle. Straight down Wembley Way and onto the tube to Baker St.

Did you walk past me then? We did the same but ended up getting a cab from Brent Park McDonalds

Stayed to applaud the lads. Did notice that most of the Arsenal fans were gone well before we left. 10 minutes after final whistle only Reading fans left. Guess its just another game for them.

Stayed until the end. I'm normally the first to be back on a bus into town after a home match but on this occasion they deserved all the applause.

Stayed to applaud players then went for a drink to wait until train queues went down a bit at that bit by the cinema.

If it had been a final, the winning supporters would have stayed in ground longer but there was nothing for arsenal to stay back for hence the difference from when we've played there before and got trains quicker

Maybe, I saw quite a few Royals on that walk, on the right hand side, with no pavement. A couple of Bracknell lads followed me to Kilburn.

Edit: I remember a group of 5 or 6 telling me they were looking for a taxi.

Was obviously there clapping at the end. I've given the team a bit of stick this season so was proud to be able to congratulate them on a fantastic performance. Kept clapping until they had left the pitch.

To be fair, they probably had longer drives home.

I also did Green. I wanted to get back to the pub.

I was in the Arsenal end so didn't really feel the need to stay behind.

I could hear the final whistle just as I stepped over the threshold of the stadium. 8)

Stayed till the end to applaud the team, its not every week the team takes Arsenal to extra time and puts on such a good performance as that. I'm all for beating the traffic on boring dull home games, but not the semi final of the FA Cup! Most the fans in lower tier stayed and sung Adam Federici's name, great touch
