Kitsondinho The prospect of Chesterfield, Sheff Utd or Preston away is great in terms of travel for me....(especially Chesterfield, seeing as I can walk there in 5 mins)......but obviously I want Swindon to come up.....so we can help relegate them......

watch out Swindon town be Hard team to beat !! if they come up

Yep, I saw Windsor & Eton there a few years ago in a Cup Final. Nice stadium, bit of a soulless bowl I suppose but very tidy.

I've been to "stadium MK". Its a soulless black hole. It makes the MadStad look like bayern munich's ground or whoever produces a good atmosphere these days.

Their average attendance for a home game is around 10'000. They had 16000 for their promotion the other day.

They've obviously not been in existence for long.

Their fans at away games averaged 468 last year.

It's a huge ground but only half of it is in use. It's a club with ideas above its station. Much like the place itself. Totally and completely void of any personality, anything interesting or unique.

I've been there for a sell out European rugby game Northanpton Saints v someone
Atmosphere was fantastic, seats were very comfy and much more leg room than at Madstad

I predict they are going places and no more above their station than, I don't know, Bournemouth or Brentford

I went for a preseason friendly we had there a good few years back, not long after it opened, and before most of the surrouding industrial units had been finished. They'd only put seats in the bottom half of the ground at that point too, as iirc M&S were paying some sort of sponsorship on the top tier and as they'd not moved into their unit yet they'd not paid MK Dons any money for it (something like that anyway).

I seem to recall we won 2-0 or 2-1 and it was a lovely warm day.

Is it allowed to go an watch MK Dons now? I don't think I could bring myself too really. They are not just another small team with a nice stadium, they bought their place in the league!

Saw England Women lose to USA Women there in Feb. Average ground, looks like it was thrown up over a few months and still needs a fair amount of work doing. Parking is an absolute nightmare! As for liking MK Dons.... I'll never be able to do that.

Newcastle = :lol: :lol: :lol: yep
Sunderland = yep
Leicester = ambivalence

Bristol City = yep
MK Dons = nope

Just thought I'd throw my simple opinion on the subject/
