I like it. The logo is what it is, and has been pointed out, Carabao paid money to be on the shirt so that's what we get.

I'd still prefer white shorts, but it's a decent kit.

I like it. Nice shirt, nice style, nice hoops, nice colour. The sponsor is fine and very distinctive and it actually balances the whole thing out with the red numbering etc on the back.
Shame it wont fit me, Fat Bastard that i am, becuase of pumas continued use of ridiculous sizing.

No Fixed Abode Don't like the hooped back though. Impossible to read the names of the players from a distance. Much better if it were plain.

If you actually go to games you start to recognise the players, there's even some pictures on the OS to help you get started.

How did part time fans like Kes cope in the days when there were no names on shirts and numbers just referred to positions on the pitch ?

From a commentators perspective. I remember seeing Reading a few times on tv and they all moaned about it. It's fine when you have recognisable stars in your team, but a lower to mid-table championship team could do with clear names on the back.

Shirt looks baggy to me, compared to Arsenal's kit sizing.

Imagine anyone being remotely arsed about a football kit.

That Arsenal shirt looked ridiculous on some players. Fine if you've got a good body, but those that didn't - it just looked stupid.

Sutekh Meanwhile the away shirt will be launched on an as yet unspecified ate DURING the season. Good old Reading, nothing like being organised.

I read the announcement as replica shirts of the away kit won't be available until the season starts, not that we won't see it.

Given that clubs change their shirts every season now - and the 'lifespan' of a shirt is shorter - it's a shambles really. Pay £50 for any away shirt and some 8 months later a new one will be out.

Liking that to be honest - particularly the move from dark blue to HNA? blue.

It's a shame they didn't credit Kes with being first to leak the design

50 years ago, when I first went to Elm Park, there were no squad numbers or names on shirts. We managed, although I can't recall seeing TV cameras that often.

Best home shirt in years, spoiled by a crap sponsor. Would prefer white shorts too.
