Think gold is in the centre of the stand and silver either side of it basically.

Ah cheers. From online it seems only restricted view upper tier tickets are left.

Tricky decision to take the restricted view or wait for the lower tier..

Decided to go for restricted view tickets at the moment. Went on QPR's website and they are selling bottom tier to home fans. Although, it appears they've hardly sold any there.

If bottom tier does open up, then i'll ask on the day to move to the bottom tier (probably unsuccessfully).

From my understanding from the ticket office, only Upper Tier is on sale so I just bit the bullet

Sold around 1,200 with about 400 left. Would expect us to sell those remaining tickets by the time the game comes around.

So only restricted view tickets available now. Anyone able to tell me what the Gold Restricted View ticket is like and what would be blocking my view?

If the poster earlier in the thread is correct then gold is in the middle so restricted will be that you are higher up so maybe can't see the goal line in front of you or the roof blocks aerial balls.

Yeah last time I was at QPR I was near the top so I could only just see the frame of the goal.

So only upper tier then, won't open up if they have already sold tickets there.

Missing my first London away game for a few years. My two kids and I can go to Champions Day at Ascot for half the ticket price of going to QPR which pretty much sums up how daft the pricing is given the quality of the away stand.
However, it has dawned on me that the main reason is that I was bored silly watching the Derby game and can't really be bothered to go. As much as I support the change in the way we're playing I hope we figure out how to be better at it ASAP so that we actually try to play forward a bit more often !
We'll probably win 6-0 now in one of the finest attacking displays ever seen by a Reading team :-)

Got a gold ticket which says 'restricted sight line' , is this the same as a restricted view or are they all worded the same?
Not happy because there was no indication online that the ticket I was purchasing had a restricted view, would not of bought it if i knew.
Also, it's in the end block so all the gold tickets can't be in the centre. Did not expect a gold ticket to be worse than a silver, how can they justify selling the higher price tickets with restricted views?
