North Somerset Royal We are fortunate that RFC do not charge a booking fee or for delivery of away tickets. However people complaining about the Fulham pricing seemed to be under the impression that all away fans visiting the Mad Stad are only paying £20 which is not the case. After add ons my BCFC friend is paying the same as we are for Fulham.

That's more of a reflection of BCFC though isn't it?

A massive tick in the RFC box is that we never charge a booking fee or postage.

Yes I agree entirely. My point was really that the £25 being charged by Fulham is not out of line with what a lot of supporters of other clubs will in fact pay to visit the the Mad Stad. At the end of the day people are only interested in what they land up paying and as far as my BCFC friend is concerned he paid £25 and he was not aware of the twenties plenty scheme.

Away fans create the atmosphere. If £20 attracts a few more all the better. At least Reading are showing the way and making headlines for all the right reasons.

Hopefully not near the front or the corner

Plus this will be my 3rd away game of the season, all London 8) #daytripper

I've got P7 and looking at the stadium plan this is the closest block to the corner flag

Presuming we sell out our initial allocation, this means the blocks behind the goal will go on sale later, wonder if we can switch once this opens up?

Tickets came.

I'm in row E in P6

No doubt the family behind will ask me to sit just as the game kicks off

TBF we had close to 4,000 last year and about 99% were stood. Hopefully same again this time.

Yea I was right near the top last year and saw most stood up.

Normally if we get a good crowd they do stand. So fingers crossed as I think it does create a better atmosphere

Well at the Arsenal game we pretty much had to stand all game because a group of lads about 5 rows down stood all game which caused a domino effect. A woman behind us tried to get people to sit down because kids couldn't see, didn't actually see the kids myself, I did briefly sit down but since everyone didn't do it, then it was pointless.

Said woman and the bloke with her later tried to start a chant of "Bring Swifty on" to the same tune as "Everywhere we go" so I stopped caring about what she had to say after that.

To put it bluntly, a packed away end probably isn't really a family occasion and if they do go, expect people to be standing, not that I would try and dissuade families from attending away games but trying to get everyone to sit is just going to fall on deaf ears at an away game.

My eldest is still at Infants school. He comes to some away games with me. In the last few years he has been to Huddersfield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Derby. At all those games haven't been that full and we've been able to sit where he can see and not really (clearly) hear the 'tactical analysis' of other fans...I'm not taking him to Fulham for the above reasons. It won't worry me if I have to stand all game. I do get annoyed with the idea that it is impossible to shout, chant or have fun sitting at the football. It isn't and sitting doesn't have to ruin the atmosphere....however, I know that mentioning this at away games such as Fulham would not be helpful to my enjoyment of the game.
