Around 369 sold, including Block M (seating) being sold out. I'd be surprised if we got any additional seats given how empty the terrace is at this stage (about quarter full).

Can't see that as an option - have you pre-booked?

Is almost a sellout now with a month to go.

They're only putting the terrace tickets on sale in groups of about 50-100. My estimate is 518 sold, with that number likely to increase the closer we get to the game.

Why are trains in this country so pathetic. Haven't a clue how to do this:

Drive 2 hrs 40, no beers.

Star bus - leave 2pm to get down there. Won't be home until God knows when.

Train - not home until gone 4am for the hefty sum of £200odd.

Do you expect there to be high demand for a train from the South West back towards London after 10pm on a Tuesday? Yeah, god knows why there aren't many options and why they're super expensive...!

Travelling off-peak used to be cheaper. But appreciate working patterns are somewhat different since the pandemic.

Not sure where the £200 sum is coming from, paid £57 myself which is reasonable enough.

Super offpeak return, available now, is £88. Two singles in advance is £80ish and I reckon you could have got cheaper, earlier, or by picking tickets according.

Anytime return, i.e. what you'd pay on the day, is £248.

tldr buy train tickets in advance.

I do like that there's a train at 20:52 and then an absolute grizzler of a journey starting at 01:07 and getting to Reading just before 4. No similar train heading north so if I do head down, it would have to be an overnight. No, wait, an 0320 coach :|

For Super off peak you'd have to leave by 3:30pm.

What time trains have you gone for?

Was eyeing up 4:30 and then the 1am train and £200 was the ball park.

In fairness they run an hourly service up until 9pm so must be a level of demand. A bit of smarts and you'd have 500odd football fans on the 10:30 train.

I mean, sure - it's possible. But I doubt the logistics of just sticking a 1 off train on a busy mainline, are that simple.

It looks to me like the 0100 train fits into that category. Only the 0632 to 0853 come as 'peak' trains on the return.

Anyway, went back and two singles, leaving 1701 and 0047 (from central) respectively comes in at £83.79 on Trainline for me.

If you do go, there's a nice pub with belgian beers right by central and some solid old pubs just off the main central street. For the August game last year, a walk to the old docks was rewarding, not sure same vibe in October.
